About the performance

Playthings is a motion performance about how different things learn to get into lockstep in one small box. It leads into an imaginative world where playthings – or playmates – unexpectedly become very real. In this mobile and resonant performance, feelings act as guides, helping not to get lost in the bustle. Through playing together, things are noticed, new places are discovered, and joy, sadness, anger and affection are experienced on a journey toward the Universe.
